How did I miss this??
At least I can mark my calendar for next year: September 24th is National Punctuation Day! Finally, a holiday I can believe in. Why, it even has an official meat loaf!
Really, between this and Talk Like a Pirate Day on the 19th, September may just be my new favorite month. If we see any more nerd holidays added to the calendar (National Recite Pi to the First Fifteen Digits Day, perhaps? Or National Day of Beating People Who Say "Between You and I" with Sticks? Write to your congressperson!) I might even be persuaded to hold off on my Christmas decorating a few more weeks. In favor of, you know, skull-and-crossbones wreaths and giant inflatable MLA Style Manuals.
